What is the difference between a pin board and a bulletin board?
Our frameless pin boards are built with a frame under the fabric and the fabric is gallery wrapped around the edges of the board. Our Bulletin Boards are framed and have fabric panels.
What is behind the fabric? Is there a frame?
We build our pin boards with 3/4" thick hardwood frame - on top of that is a 1/2" layer of cork-like material - then the fabric is glued and gallery wrapped around all 4 edges.
How thick are the pin boards?
The finished thickness of our frameless pin boards is 1-1/4".
Can I get swatches of the pin board fabrics?
Of course - we always recommend seeing our fabrics in person to make sure you are choosing the best fabric for your space. Go to this page to request fabric swatches.
How big can you build the pin boards?
The biggest size we can build is a 8ft x 4 ft - which will cost around $800. plus freight costs.
Is there a minimum cost to order a custom size?
Our minimum cost to build a custom sized pin board is $100. plus shipping.
How do I hang my pin board?
We include our super easy to use hanging hardware on every board that ships. We do offer several different types of hanging hardware depending on the size and weight of your board. See this page for more detail on our hanging hardware.
Can I return my custom board if I don't like it?
Sorry - custom built boards are non-returnable. We suggest ordering a fabric sample before you order so you can make sure your custom board will be the perfect fit and look for your space. We also recommend using some painters tape on your wall to 'map' out the perfect size.
